THE DRIVES THAT DRIVE OUR CUSTOMERS CRAZY

There’s a reason our phones are ringing off the hook for Control Techniques’ range of drives!

When it comes to solving your VFD problems, Control Techniques lives up to the challenge. From solving current drive problems on site, to designing and building custom new MCC drive solutions to seamlessly fit into your application.

What is a VFD?

A VFD – also known as a variable frequency drive, variable speed drive or adjustable speed drive – is an electronic controller used to vary the frequency applied to an AC motor to control the motor speed. VFDs are commonly used in automation systems, machine control and productivity, and in building automation systems for energy savings.

Control Techniques drives offer:

  • Wide power and voltage ranges with advanced motor control
  • Extendable through a large range of option modules
  • Compact with onboard programming and motion control.
  • Robust design for long and reliable service
